Phantom of the Opera
by Hella ~ February 25th, 2004Tonight I went to see this show for the second time. I bought tickets many months ago and I forgot exactly how good they were. I somehow was lucky enough to get tickets on the front row in the exact center. The conductor was an arm’s reach away.
When I sat down, I thought about how close that chandelier would come … and it was pretty close. There was also quite a bit of flash warmth when the pyrotechnics went off. However, it was nice to be able to notice the detail in the costumes and watch the singers’ lips move. It makes it much easier to understand what they are saying … well sometimes at least, like when they are speaking English.
I really enjoyed the show and it’s probably the last time I’ll ever have seats this great.

I absolutely love Phantom - really any musical. Sounds like you had a good time.
