Recent Books Section
by Hella ~ February 29th, 2004I’ve added a small section at the bottom of the sidebar that lists some of the books I have recently purchased. If you are a WordPress user and would like this feature, check out the Amazon Media Manager 1.0 hack by Denyerec.
The administrative interface fits in nicely with WordPress and one of the best features is that you can edit the Title and Author of items before they are written to the database. A similar plugin I’ve used for another publishing system was not as flexible. I made a minor modification to disable the thumbnail images of the book covers, though this is something that is available by default.
You can also use this hack to pull any combiantion of Books, DVDs, and Music.
