by Hella ~ March 22nd, 2004I was able to claim my Wharton email address today by logging into Penn Portal and then registering for a Wharton account. It automatically assigned me both my Wharton address and my lifelong address. It says something about not being able to send email from this account until after April 21st, but I am lucky to have an email host that allows me to send from any domain. You can also log into mySpike and forward your Wharton email so you can have people start sending you stuff straight away!

Brad, we have a bit of a technical issue, it seems the process for setting up accounts is not yet ready, and while it allowed you to do so, it may cause problems down the road so we want to limit the number of people from setting up accounts now … could you add a note to this and your diary entry, once things are resolved i will let you know. cheers, alex
