by Hella ~ April 22nd, 2004The previews for this one looked hilarious so I decided to give it a shot tonight. While this is a really fun movie, the focus is more on the talent the girls have and the subplots, where the juice really is, take a while to get started. It’s also covered in more cheese than a large order of nachos. If you can get past that, this would be a great one to rent, though I wouldn’t recommend ponying up $8 to go see it. Rent it for 99 cents, order you some Papa John’s (extra cheese not necessary), and come out (no pun intended) way ahead.
I must say I really enjoyed seeing Nia Vardalos once again, but this doesn’t begin to compare to My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
