Loan Paperwork
by Hella ~ June 17th, 2004I think I’ve now filed my final promissory note (for the Perkins Loan). I received it in the mail sometime last week while I was on vacation and just finished filling it out tonight. I also completed the Student Loan Personal Data Form. I put a priority mail stamp on it and dropped it off at the post office. Hopefully I’ve filled everything out correctly and there are no surprises. Of all the notes, this was the most manual. The CitiAssist promissory note could be faxed and the Stafford Loan could be electronically signed using a PIN from the FAFSA. Overall, though, the process for getting all the money was more straightforward than I had imagined.
