Collecting Documentation

by Hella ~ June 24th, 2004

I’ve started rounding up information that will be important for Pre-Term and the rest of the matriculation process. I’m considering waiving a few of the core courses by credential but I doubt I will end up requesting waivers for everything I qualify for (especially after glancing over the Pre-Term prep materials!). There are just some courses I think I should get a solid grounding in before I jump into advanced topics. This is, after all, one of the reasons I wanted to return to school.

I also sent off a fax today requesting my immunization record from my undergraduate institution. They turned it around in less than a day and they actually faxed it back as I requested. I’m going to have to get 4 vaccines; the hepatitis series and a tetanus since it’s been just almost 11 years. And speaking of health care, I’ve decided to just go with Penn’s offered plan. I think it’s probably a good value for the amount of coverage and I think it will end up being less hassle.

I don’t know why wharton wants hepatitis shots. It’s not like the grad students are sitting around shooting up. I got my first one this week and I think it made me sick.
