Pre-Term Registration
by Hella ~ June 26th, 2004I finished taking the self-assessment tests this afternoon (or rather, they finished taking me) and decided to go ahead with my registration for Pre-Term. I also glanced through the Resource Guide when thinking about my strategy for waiving classes. In short, I’m not going to waive several classes I might could waive by credential. I think it will serve me well to go ahead and refresh the material.
My reasoning is twofold:
- I am not comfortable with my retention of the subject matter since my past experiences are largely technical in nature.
- I know the level at which the classes will be taught is far beyond what I got in undergrad.
Having said this, I am hoping to place into the accelerated accounting course and waive one of the economics courses entirely. Though I’ve heard it suggested to waive statistics if possible, I am more than a bit rusty and surely need to retake it. The only course I’m unsure about waiving is Managing People at Work. I had an organizational behavior course that seems to have covered much of the same material. I wonder how integrated the topics from this course are with the rest of the program? Since I’m considering the Strategic Management major, it might serve me well to go ahead and refresh on this one.
