Hella

Looking out my window and down into the parking lot at a 10-foot U-Haul truck, I had my first “Oh Shit” moment related to the move. I never went to look at how big a 10-foot truck is; after seeing this one, I got worried. Even though I rented with Penske and not U-Haul, I decided I’d better call up the customer service and see about upgrading to a 15-foot truck. It was as easy as that. I got the reservation changed, still locked in a great rate, and once again I’m all set. I just hope they have the right size truck for me when I get there in two weeks.

Oh, my buyer for most of the furniture came back tonight to pick up the majority of the items purchased. Taken off my hands were a coffee table and matching side table, two matching nightstands, and a high dresser. I never even planned to move these items though. It’s kind of ironic that I get rid of a bunch of stuff then decide I need more room in the truck!
