Bonner’s
by Hella ~ July 24th, 2004Last night was my first “official” Wharton group event since I moved to Philadelphia. A few of the people already in town organized an informal happy hour over at Bonner’s on S. 23rd Street around 7pm. There was a nice turnout and by 9pm or so it was pretty crowded. I met some people I’d been seeing on Etalk and we exchanged a lot of stories about the frustrations of moving up here. After Bonner’s I walked with a few friends I’d made at Welcome Weekend and went back to see their new apartments. We sat and chatted for hours and at the second apartment we were treated to freshly baked gourmet cookies. They were delicious and a great way to end the evening.
