Hella

It’s T -2 days and quickly counting down to the Dedicated Interview Period (DIP). I’ve got a couple of interviews on Friday, then again on Monday and a couple more throughout the week. Of course, hopefully I will end up with some final round interviews and maybe even an offer by the time the whole thing is done.

I’m viewing the whole thing as a fishing trip. I’ve already scouted out the lake and dropped some bait in (I’m not saying how many times!). I’ve had some bites, and now I just have to reel in the fish. Maybe in a bit over a week I’ll be looking at an offer and be able to actually enjoy the rest of the Spring semester without stressing over this seriously important part of the MBA experience.

Classes are already hectic and I had my first homeworks due today. I had a Financial Derivatives problem set that kept me up late last night and also a group case in Cost Accounting. While I think the accounting went very well (we discussed the solution in class today), I will have to wait and see on the derivatives. That class is going to be rough, I can feel it already.
