Catching Up

by Hella ~ February 25th, 2005

I was completely exhausted last night and ended up falling to sleep before I even had a chance to eat dinner. I woke up this morning around 10am today and figure I got a good 12 hours of sleep in. At least I’m feeling refreshed, and that’s good considering I’ve got final exams next week.

Tomorrow I’m going to be a volunteer for an HRC Dinner here in town. I’m told that it will take most of the day so I guess I’ll need to plan my studying around that. While accounting should be relatively straightforward to prepare for, I think BPUB will be a different story. It’s hard to understand (at least to me) exactly what I’m supposed to have gotten my hands around during this half-quarter. We don’t get to take our usual 1 page sheet into the exam so we’re stuck memorizing a bunch of facts, frameworks, and other non-sense. I have already forgotten a lot of the particulars of what I crammed in for the legal studies test.

At least my calendar is mostly blank today. I’m taking the opportunity to grab lunch with a friend before I come back home and work through some practice problems. I’m curious to see if the bank I’ve been ‘waiting’ to hear from decides to give me a ring since today is the deadline by which most DIP offers must be accepted. It would just be kind if they’d call to say ‘thanks, but no thanks’.
