Q4 Eve
by Hella ~ March 13th, 2005We’re on the eve of the last quarter of the first year and I must say that I’m ready to get this over with. I did not enjoy the last quarter’s core classes at all (though Managerial Accouting was taught quite well). For this quarter, I’m picking up an additional two courses for a total of six so I’ll have to pick up some slack. To that end, I’ve been integrating my reading, of which I’ll have a significant amount more, with the gym. So between sets on the weight machines, I read a couple of pages while I’m resting. For some reason, I tend to get nauseous if I don’t space out my sets too much so this works good for filling the down time with studying. I’m hoping it’ll motivate me to both get my reading done on time and go to the gym.
I’m a bit behind on my work for Tax Accounting (a full semester course). I really haven’t started work on my research paper and I need to double-time it on that to make myself feel better. I have no idea what to expect in terms of the final exam either. I guess I’ve learned that there’s usually one rough course ever time around.
Another reason I want to try to stay on top of the workload this quarter is because I’ll have quite a bit more learning team work to do. So far, I haven’t had much because I waived a significant number of core classes. With the additional teamwork, it’ll be important to have enough time to spare to accomodate others’ schedules, and that means getting ahead on my own stuff.
