Hella

Well I made it through today. After getting my reading done (I spent 3 hours off and on completing it) for my 1:30pm class, I sat in the lecture/case discussion and managed to make what I thought to be a decent comment. When I put so much effort into preparing for class, sometimes I feel I’m not getting as much return on it unless I actually say something. I think I’m doing much better this year than last. And it’s a good thing since class participation is 37% of the course grade.

Anyway, interviews start tomorrow morning. I don’t have my 10:30am class because we had the midterm exam tonight (it went much better for me than I expected). So I’ve got an interview at 8:00am and another at 10:45am. Then I will probably sneak by to my noon class where we’ll be reviewing for the midterm on Monday. After a 30-minute break (during which I have to head over to Career Services and check in), I have another interview. After a small break, I’ve got a Finance club meeting.

This afternoon I got a call from one of the recruiting companies inviting me to a dinner tomorrow night. It’s at a restaurant I’ve yet to eat at and I thankfully have room in my schedule to make it. I’m looking forward to meeting more people from the firm and to some good food. It’ll be good to go to bed on a full stomach as it’ll all start again at 8:30am on Thursday!
