BoB Ballot
by Hella ~ April 22nd, 2006I just got through pouring over the 50 blogs up for this year’s Best of Blogging awards. When you haven’t been keeping up with them regularly, it’s no quick task. I first setup everything in Google’s RSS Reader to make things easy to navigate. Then I got to reading.
Among the things I considered were:
- Post consistency
- Depth of thought
- Relevance to the MBA
- Strength of readership (as evidenced by regular comments)
I was more familiar with the applicant blogs than the student blogs probably because I get more applicants emailing me to be added to the blog lists. I usually check out the content before adding them if I have time. As for students, it was interesting to read perspectives at different schools. It’s easy to just get caught up in the way things are at the school you attend and it’s not a bad idea to take stock of things elsewhere.
Anyway, good luck to all those nominated.
