I’ve added the SimpleTags plugin to my WordPress install to allow me to easily add Technorati tags to my posts. While some MBA-related websites use tags, I’m not sure many in the MBA applicant and student blogging community do. It would be nice to see MBA bloggers use them so that content is much easier to find. Surely would be super helpful for applicants looking for the latest interview reports, school visit reports, current student perspectives, etc. A few tags I plan to use: b-school, mba, mba application, wharton mba

If all the applicant bloggers tagged each post as “mba applicant” and all similarly all students tagged their posts as “mba student”, it would be really easy to track the most recently published posts. Technorati also allows you to subscribe to an RSS feed for a given tag. With enough bloggers doing it, the outcome would be very similar to the Applicant and Student blog lists I keep.

Also consider configuring your blog to ping Technorati each time you update.
