Newsday theme

After a bit of cleanup, I think I’ve got the Newsday theme working on the site. I put dropdown lists in the footer in place of the laundry lists of archives. I also fiddled with some of the page templates, notably the one for Archives, since it did not appear to be working as I liked. Most importantly, I added a call to wp_head() in the header file. Leaving it out was causing the call to the Counterize plugin (and other stuff, no doubt) to be left out.

Overall I think it is a nice clean theme with good usability. The tabs at the top for Pages do not appear to work in Internet Explorer, but then again, a lot of things don’t :-)
